The Changanacherry Club, founded in 1997 by a group of 15 like-minded businessmen and professionals, has been exalted as the pride of the region for its glory and reach. Membership has grown from 15 to over 800 in a quarter of a century.
The Club has been widely acclaimed for its activities that stretch over multifaceted spheres — encompassing the social, cultural and charity concerns of the locality and beyond.
Located at Changanacherry, hailed as the Land of Five Lamps, on the Changanacherry Bye-pass Road close to the Main Central Road. With its sylvan settings, Changanacherry is the gateway to Alleppey — the Venice of the East — the High Ranges, Thekkady, Munnar and the Kumarakom backwaters. It is also a seat of religious harmony, where all faiths co-exist peacefully and festivals bring communal harmony and national integration.
A Registered Club bearing No. K 106/97 — a mark of enduring institutional standing.
Managed by a Governing Committee elected annually by the General Body.
Reciprocal affiliations with prominent clubs across Kerala, India and abroad.
Membership is granted only after stringent scrutiny — preserving the Club's standards of excellence.
Changanacherry is the gateway to Kerala's most treasured destinations — leisurely houseboat sailing along the wide canals of Alleppey and Kumarakom adds charm to every visit.
